Alpha Phi House, a 1958 Sim Bruce Richards designed Organic Modern
building with decorative treatments from noted sculptor/artist James
Hubbell. (picture - at
its completion, February 1958.)
This was the first sorority house completed at SDSU.
Its distinctive design, featuring decorative
treatments from noted artist/architect James Hubbell, set the standard
for the area's Organic and sustainable designs that have followed. |
