The College Neighborhoods Foundation develops and supports projects
which enhance our community and benefit the public good. In addition to a variety of their
own projects, some of the outside projects CNF considers for (co)sponsorship rely upon CNF’s
501(c)(3) nonprofit status, fiscal management, or project management skills.
One of CNF’s first efforts was to bring positive press to the College
Neighborhoods. Through a variety of articles, the College Neighborhoods began to see a change in the way
the neighborhoods perceived themselves, and the way the larger San Diego community viewed
the College Neighborhoods.
